The Riverside Turkey Trot is a community-driven Thanksgiving-morning run and walk created to bring people together, spark connection, and celebrate the joy of the holiday. Hosted at Condron Coffee in Riverside’s Midtown neighborhood, the event welcomes everyone—families, seasoned runners, first-timers, and even four-legged friends—to start their morning with movement, gratitude, and fun.

Founded by Kristine and Ryan Condron, the Turkey Trot began as a simple idea: create a joyful tradition where neighbors could gather, families could make memories, and anyone could show up and feel they belong. What started as a small neighborhood run has grown into an annual event designed to bring warmth, unity, and a spirit of generosity to Thanksgiving morning.

Our Giving Philosophy

Each year, the Riverside Turkey Trot partners with a local organization making a meaningful impact for children, families, or the Riverside community. Whether through fundraising, awareness, or hands-on involvement, giving back will always be at the heart of our mission.

As the event grows, we aim not only to create an unforgettable Thanksgiving tradition but also to support causes that strengthen our city and uplift those who need it most.

2025 Giving Partner:
Olive Crest

For our inaugural year, 100% of event proceeds were donated to Olive Crest, an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk children and strengthening families through safe homes, counseling, and essential support services.

Olive Crest’s mission—Strong Families, Safe Kids—deeply aligns with the heart behind the Turkey Trot. A portion of event proceeds will support their programs serving children and families throughout Riverside and Southern California.
